If readings seem inaccurate, a full recalibration takes about 60 seconds: place the device on a flat level surface, hold the ZERO button until "CAL1" appears on screen, then rotate the device 90° clockwise and press ZERO at each step until "PASS" displays. Restart the device and it's ready to use.
